welcome to the U7 Division
U7 Coordinator - Darryl Stickler
Hi parents,
Welcome to Coquitlam Minor Hockey's U7 Division. My name is Darryl Stickler and I have volunteered to be your U7 coordinator this year - a change of pace from being on the ice the last two seasons.
With sons in U9 and U7, I have been in involved with CMHA for several years now and will be your first point of contact for hockey this season until you are assigned a team later in September.
I will be updating this page every week as new information comes online, but for right now I have only these three comments:
- We will be having a mandatory pre-season parent meeting over Zoom on Thursday, September 5th from 7pm - 9pm. Please make sure at least one parent from each family is able to attend remotely. More details including the Zoom link will be sent over the coming weeks.
- Player evaluations will start in early September.
- Would recommend signing your child up for skating lessons with Canskate or City of Coquitlam for the upcoming fall season (September through November) and getting out to at least a couple of public skates at the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex (admission is very inexpensive) before we hit the ice as a group next month.
Regards,
- Darryl
