Elite Pre-Season Power Skating, Puck Handling & Shooting Skills with High Performance Dryland Training

Camp Overview:
Get a jump start on the competition this year and be well prepared for evaluations! This detail orientated 4-day camp is designed to help players improve their skating efficiency, edge
control, puck skills, and shooting techniques. Each 60-minute session combines focused skating instruction with skill application to develop confident, explosive, and deceptive hockey players. Also included is 4 hours of Hockey Specific, Off Ice, training provided by
Innovative Fitness.
Camp Highlights:
Power Skating & Edge Work -
Power Skating & Edge Work: Players will develop proper skating mechanics, stride efficiency, balance, agility, acceleration, transitions, and advanced edge control. Drills will focus on improving speed, stability, and the ability to change direction quickly while maintaining control.
Puck Handling & Deceptive Shooting Skills -
Building directly off the skating techniques practiced earlier in the session, players will learn how to apply their edges, body positioning, and skating movements to create offensive and defensive advantages. Athletes will work on puck control at speed, evasive puck-handling moves, weight transfers, deceptive shooting mechanics, changing shooting angles, and releasing pucks quickly while in motion.
Throughout the week, players will learn how elite skaters use powerful edges and efficient movement patterns to create time and space, protect the puck, and generate scoring opportunities. The camp emphasizes skill transfer from skating to game situations, helping players become faster, more dynamic, and more dangerous with the puck.

Power Skating Camps

Camp Overview:
This detailed Power Skating Camp is designed to help players improve on the most important aspect of the game! SKATING!
The camp focuses on proper skating mechanics that translate directly to game performance. Players will work on forward and backward skating, crossovers, quick starts, transitions, and
puck-control skating, with plenty of repetition and feedback from experienced instructors. If your child is looking to take their skating to the next level, this camp provides the foundation
needed for long-term success.

Camp Overview:
This camp is designed with one purpose in mind! To improve players individual skills at either forward or defense. Camp will begin with a fast-paced group warm-up before players are divided
into Forwards and Defense for position-specific instruction.
Forwards will focus on skating for offensive play, attacking with speed, puck protection, shooting in stride, net drives, and creating scoring opportunities.
Defense will work on skating efficiency, situational awareness, backward mobility, pivots, defensive positioning, retrievals, breakout execution and offensive blue line maneuvers.
This format allows players to receive specialized coaching tailored to the demands of their position
while continuing to build confidence and game-ready skills.
Key Focus Areas:

U15 Body Contact, Angling & Shooting Camp

Camp Overview:
The Body Contact, Angling & Shooting Camp is designed specifically for U15 players who are entering or returning to competitive rep hockey. The camp focuses on developing the skills required to play confidently and safely in physical game situations while building offensive confidence through improved shooting technique.
Players will learn proper body contact and angling techniques, puck protection, and defensive positioning while also improving their shooting mechanics, power, accuracy, and quick release.
Through progressive drills, individual instruction, and game-like scenarios, athletes will gain the confidence and skills needed to compete at the next level.
Camp Objectives:
Master the fundamentals of body contact with an emphasis on balance, timing, control,
and safety.
Develop effective angling techniques to steer opponents toward the boards, eliminate time
and space, and maintain strong defensive positioning.
Improve puck protection skills to maintain possession under pressure.
Learn safe and effective body contact techniques that minimize the risk of injury while
maximizing performance.
Apply newly developed skills through small-area games, competitive drills, and controlled
scrimmages that simulate real game situations.
Refine shooting fundamentals, including wrist shots, snap shots, slap shots, and backhand
shots, while improving accuracy, power, and release speed.

Prepare for the upcoming season with a fast-paced, competitive training environment designed to get U18 rep players ready for training camp and into mid-season form.
This pre-season camp focuses on developing the skills, conditioning, and mindset required to compete at a high level. Every session is built around game-like situations, high-tempo drills, and intense competition to help players elevate their performance.

Includes one classroom seminar at the conclusion of Day 4, focusing on developing a strong mental mindset and providing practical tools to help goalies manage the emotional highs and
lows of evaluations. (Location TBD)

Camp Overview:
Pre-evaluation tune up. Time to shake off the rust and fine-tune your skills before the evaluations and tryouts. This specialized pre-season camp is designed specifically for goalies looking to refresh their fundamentals, sharpen their reflexes and prepare for the upcoming season with confidence. Get an early glimpse of the type of drills goalies will be evaluated on during Tryouts.

Camp Overview:
The U11 Rep pre-season training camp is designed to prepare athletes for the upcoming season by focusing on key skill development, conditioning, and building a competitive mindset. This camp will incorporate various drills and exercises that aim to enhance players' conditioning on-ice battle and complete, passing, shooting, competitive and team play. Groups will be split into Forwards and Defense for position-specific drills during the first hour. In the second half, the groups will come together for drills designed to apply the skills learned earlier.
Defenseman Skills Development
This high-intensity camp is designed specifically for defensemen looking to elevate their game through focused instruction, elite-level drills, and situational training. Players will develop critical skills to become reliable, smart, and effective defensemen in all three zones.
Core Focus Areas:
Defensive Zone Escapes: Learn how to evade forecheckers with smart footwork, shoulder checks, and puck protection techniques to create time and space under pressure.
Blueline Escapes: Master lateral mobility and deception at the offensive blue line to maintain puck possession and create offensive opportunities.
Breakouts & Net Wheels: Execute clean, confident breakouts through structured drills emphasizing puck movement, communication, and timing—including pressure-based net wheels.

Camp Overview:
For the first time, we're offering a dedicated U9 camp designed specifically for both players and goalies. Unlike traditional development camps, this program places equal emphasis on goalie development, ensuring young netminders receive quality instruction alongside skaters.
If you're looking to build your skills and gain confidence heading into next season, this Summer Development Camp is the perfect opportunity.
Camp Description for players -
Players will focus on developing the fundamentals of the game, including:
Skating
Stickhandling
Shooting
Passing
Decision-making
Heads-up awareness
Our goal is to help players transfer what they learn here in practice directly into game situations - all while having fun in a positive, energetic, and supportive atmosphere to ensure maximum reps.
Goalie Development -
Goalies are a key part of this camp and will receive specialized instruction at every session. Each practice begins with 10–12 minutes of dedicated goalie training, followed by individualized
feedback and coaching throughout the session.
Our U9 goalie curriculum focuses on building a strong foundation through fun, age-appropriate instruction, including:
Proper stance, balance, and positioning
Crease movement and skating fundamentals
Angle play and depth management
Tracking the puck and developing visual focus
Rebound control
Recoveries and getting set for second-shot opportunities
Confidence, compete level, and game awareness
To ensure quality instruction, the camp is limited to a maximum of six goalies, providing an excellent goalie coach-to-goalie ratio.
A dedicated goalie coach will be on the ice for every session.
