This Power Skating Camp is designed for Rep A level players looking to improve their skating speed, agility, edgework, quickness, explosiveness and overall performance on the ice. The Body Contact and Angling Techniques Camp is specifically designed for U15 hockey players who are either entering or returning to competitive rep hockey. This camp focuses on developing
the key skills required to perform and defend effectively in physical situations on the ice, while also ensuring safety, proper technique, and understanding of the rules.
The Shooting component of this Camp is designed to help young athletes develop and refine their shooting techniques, power, and accuracy. This section focuses on improving shot mechanics, speed, and overall confidence in their shot using a combination of drills, and individual instruction, players will leave the camp with enhanced shooting skills that they can carry into the regular season.
Camp Objectives:
- Master Body Contact: Learn the fundamentals of body checking and body contact in game situations, with an emphasis on maintaining balance, timing, and control.
- Angling for Success: Develop angling skills to successfully force opponents to the boards, cut off offensive plays, and maintain defensive positioning.
- Improve Puck Protection: Understand how to shield the puck and maintain possession while under pressure from an opposing player.
- Safe and Effective Techniques: Focus on safe body contact and ensuring players can perform these skills with minimal risk of injury.

This program follows the Hockey Canada Player Pathway and is designed to support the development of young athletes in the U7, U9, and U11 age groups. Emphasis is placed on fun, skill development, and age-appropriate progression in a positive learning environment.
Players will focus on key fundamentals including skating, edge control, balance, puck handling, passing, and shooting. Drills are tailored to match each age group's stage of development, ensuring every player is challenged appropriately and builds confidence on the ice.

Are you curious about playing goalie? Join us for Come Try Goaltending Week - a fun, supportive introduction to the most exciting position in hockey! This camp is designed for new and aspiring goaltenders who want to learn the basics in a positive, low-pressure environment.
Led by experienced goalie coaches, participants will get hands-on instruction in:
Basic stance and positioning
Movement techniques (shuffles, T-pushes, recoverie
Puck tracking and glove/blocker use
Intro to rebound control and crease awareness
All sessions focus on building confidence and having fun while learning what it takes to be a goalie. Gear is available to borrow for new participants. No experience necessary- just a willingness to try something new!
U13, U15/U18C Rust Off Camp
